I completed 1700 hours of paid service as an AmeriCorps member with the Twin Cities affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. During this time, I trained teams of 15-20 volunteers on proper use of construction-grade saws, drills, and other tools, while making progress on house construction. I was also nominated by my AmeriCorps cohort to represent Twin Cities Habitat at the InterCorps Council of Minnesota.
